Pints and Poetry

by jeremylukehill

Guelph Spoken Word is starting Pints and Poetry a monthly, nomadic celebration of words and potluck food you can fit in a pint glass. Each event will showcase something to draw the community together to promote the social aspects of this city. There will also be an open mic for writers and musicians alike.

The first event is coming up this Thursday, February 11, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at the Black Heritage Society. It will focus on pints of soup and stories from Black People of Colour. It’s a potluck, so bring something to the table, and be sure to include an ingredient card. The cover is donation/pwyc.
